Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement on Monday filed a petition in the Sindh High Court (SHC) against postponement of polling for Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) election in the two constituencies of Kashmiri refugees in Karachi.
The petition was filed by MQM leaders Saleem Butt and Tahir Kokhar.The MQM on Saturday announced to boycott the AJK election following a notification issued by election commission about the postponement.
Meanwhile MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi said that his party wanted the election be held immediately.
