Tehran: Pakistan signed an agreement with Iran to purchase 35 megawatts electricity power.
For further dealing, an Iranian delegation would visit Pakistan in July.
Managing Director, Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) Rasool Khan on his departure from Iran said that the agreement of 35 MW was signed by 7 cent per unit. It would be supplied to the coastal areas of Makran.
He said that deadlock on huge agreement of 1000 MW has also ended and an Iranian delegation would visit Pakistan for further dialogues.
It is worth mentioning here that power would be supplied to Quetta within three years.
