Washington: Pakistan’s Ambassador to Washington Hussain Haqqani has said that there is no tension in ties between Pakistan and the United States.
While briefing media person regarding Islamabad’s efforts against terrorism, Haqqani said CIA and ISI are working collectively but it is not necessary to clarify the relation between both the countries. He said the US also seeks strong relation with Pakistan.
Routine news published in various papers could not damage ties between Pakistan and the US, he said, added that, Washington does not take such news serious.
Haqqani said it is right that there are little differences between both the alliances on some issue which are being discussed.
At the other hand Republican leader from Michigan Mike Rogers alleged that Pakistan’s military and intelligence authorities were obstructing US Embassy works. He said time has come to turn Pakistan on right path.
