Halle, Germany: Pak-India duo Aisam and Bopanna won the Gerry Weber Tennis Tournament in Halle, Germany on Sunday.
Aisam-ul-Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna defeated Hollands-Canada pair of Roban Has and Milos Ronic by 11-9, 3-6 and 7-6.
Earlier on Saturday, Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq and Indian Rohan Bopanna defeated the German pair of Kohlschreiber Philipp and Christopher Kas in the semifinal and reached in the mens doubles final of the Gerry Weber Tournament.
Talking to a private Pakistani TV channel, Pakistani tennis star said that winning the tournament is a pleasure. The victory was also an honour for my family, he added.
Aisam said that his mission was to win the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament.
