Sheikhupura: At least nine member of a family including women and children were killed as two rival groups exchanged heavy fire in Sheikhupura district of Punjab province of Pakistan in the wee hours of Tghursday, said police.
The incident took place in village Maha Devi, the suburb town of Tehsil Shirkpur of District Sheikhupura when two rival groups Nawaz group and Mukhtar group exchange heavy fire over any old dispute.
As a result, nine members of a family including two women, four children and two women were killed while four others sustained bullet injuries.
The dead bodies and the injured were taken to a nearby hospital.
Police rushed to the spot and started collecting further information into the incident. No arrest was made so far.
