Islamabad: The government has proposed to allocate Rs300 billion for the federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP), documents of the federal budget for 2011-12 revealed.
According to the documents, Rs 158 billions allocation for federal ministries’ development projects has been proposed. A proposal to earmark Rs 430 billion for the provincial public sector development programme has been made. The document show that Rs71 billion will be earmarked for public sector enterprises, while Rs 128 billion has been set aside for Kashmir, FATA and Gilgit-Baltistan in the budget.
As many as Rs16 billion has been allocated for Education and Higher Education in the budget.
Rs33 billion has been earmarked for Special Programme in the budget.
