Islamabad: Prime Minister Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has directed to make a people-friendly budget, adding that inflation must be checked in the budget.
Chairing a meeting of economic managers Gilani said emphasized the need to enhance investment and create jobs.
Pakistan finance minister Sheikh Hafeez gave briefing on the budget in the meeting.
PM Gilani said that development of the backward areas is government’s top priority. PM also asked Petroleum Minister Asim Hussain to take solid steps to enhance oil and gas production.
