Rawalpindi: Pakistan Health Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada has said that ban would be imposed on less than 20 cigarettes pack from Oct 1.
While addressing a seminar on Tuesday at the occasion of World Tobacco Day, Pirzada said that Pakistan was among 40 countries that ratified an agreement to make the country free of smoking. Ban on sale of less than 20 cigarettes packet will help reduce sale among youth and low income groups, the minister added.
