Karachi: Four more suspected persons were arrested from different parts of Pakistan’s economic hub, Karachi, for their alleged involvement in PNS Mehran base attack planning.
Intelligence agencies arrested a man Mushtaq from Orangi Town Karachi. The arrested accused was stated to the owner of the house located in Shah Faisal Colony that is believed to have been used for planning the attack, The News Tribe correspondent reported.
In another raid intelligence agencies arrested three suspects from Lal Kothi area along with Shahra-e-Faisal, Karachi. The arrested suspects were identified as Moiz bin Sultan, Akther Ali and Jabir Ali.
Meanwhile, Pakistani Navy officials were briefed about PNS Mehran base attack in which they were informed that only four terrorists attacked PNS Mehran base on late Sunday night on May 22, but Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that four terrorists were killed and two managed to escape from the spot after engaging our security forces at least 17 hours.
On Monday, security forces arrested a court marshaled Special Services Group commando Kamran from Lahore, Pakistan’s eastern province. The arrested commando was court marshaled 10 year ago. No other details were issued regarding the arrested commando.
