Islamabad: Pakistan’s Cabinet meeting to review the steps being taken to strengthen security of sensitive installations and counter terrorism measures will be held on Friday in Islamabad.
The cabinet that generally meets every Wednesday, was rescheduled on Friday due to the meeting of the Defence Committee of the Cabinet that reviewed the national security situation following the terrorist attacks and issues relating to regional security and stability.
Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik would brief the cabinet about the audacious terrorist attack on PNS Mehran at Karachi.
The cabinet while according top priority to the national security, discuss ways to develop national consensus on eliminating terrorism through a well coordinated and comprehensive strategy with full support of the people and state institutions.
