Karachi: A P3C Orion plane of Pakistan Navy landed at Quaid-e-Azam International Airport, Karachi on late Tuesday night, sources said.
According to a private Pakistani TV channel, at the time of terror attack on PNS Mehran, Pakistan’s first Naval base, on late Sunday night, the P3C plane was on a mission, therefore it remained save from damage.
It is worth mentioning here that after getting complete control of PNS Mehran from terrorists who stormed the naval base, Pakistan Navy Spokesman repeatedly stated that two P3C Orion planes had been damaged in the terror attack.
PNS Mehran operation and controversial press statements form Pakistani authorities after the operation, left several questions behind.
If two P3C Orion planes had been crashed then from where the plane landed today at Karachi Airport came.
Is it possible that the PNS Mehran operaton was pre-planned to get international cooperation after the death of Osama bin Laden who was hideaway in a compound in a garrison town of Abottabad, Pakistan.
Pakistan Interior Minister Rehman Malik says that six terrorists ambushed at PNS Mehran while two managed to escape after 16-hour long encounter with especial commandos of Pakistan Army, Navy and Rangers. However, FIR had been registered against 12 unknown people.
