Lahore: Pakistan Navy officer Yasir Abbas who was killed during a terrorists’ attack on a Pakistan’s naval airbase, was laid to rest in here on Tuesday.
Punjab Governor Latif Khosa and other provincial government ministers with top ranking military officials participated in the funeral prayers of the officer who foiled terrorists attempt to destroy more navy planes who had already destroyed two PC-3 Orian aircraft.
A large number of people form the cross section of the society attended the funeral prayers and paid rich tribute to the young slain navy officer who defended the country by scarifying his life.
