Kabul: Pakistan knew about the hideaway of Osama Bin Laden in Abottabad, and ties between the United States and the Pakistan have reached on very critical stage after the death of Al Qaeda Chief in a covert raid by the US special commandos, US Senator John Kerry said on Sunday.
While talking to media representatives in Kabul, Kerry said questions have been raised in the US Congress that why Pakistan did not play a progressive role as a US ally in Bin Laden issue. Some representatives in the US Congress are demanding to stop the financial assistance of Pakistan, Kerry said.
Senator Kerry is on visit to South Asia, he will also due to visit Pakistan. During the visit Senator Kerry will hold meeting Pakistan’s top authorities to put out differences between both the countries.
Earlier, Senator Kerry has said in his statements that it is in the larger interest of the US to continue assisting Pakistan as it has scarified thousands of lives in war against terror.
