Ipoh: Pakistan defeated its traditional rival India in the 20th Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament by 3-1 in Ipoh, Malaysia on Wednesday.
The players were given rest on Tuesday. After today’s victory Pakistan has won three matches out of five played in the tournament.
At the end of first half India was leading with one goal but in the second half Pakistani players played aggressively and attempted several attacks on Indian goal. Pakistan successfully scored three goals while India remained fail to scored goal in the second half, and Pakistan won the match by 3-1.
Umer Bhutta, Mohammad Imran and Sohail Abbas scored goals for Pakistan.
