Washington: United State Senator John Kerry Tuesday said that he would visit Pakistan next week to bring the relations between Pakistan and the US on normal position.
It is pertinent to mention here that ties between both the countries have been tightened following the death of Osama Bin Laden that killed by the US Navy Seals in a raid on May 2 but the US operation, considering violation of Pakistan’s integrity.
Senator Kerry visit is being considered very important as US President Barack Obama and Secretary of State had suspended their visits to Pakistan because of security concerns. The senator Kerry is also due to visit Afghanistan after Pakistan’s visit.
On May 5, Senator Kerry said that rising militancy in Pakistan would affect relationships between both the countries. He said the US has strong reservations over Pakistan’s rising nuclear arms, but the US military goals are associated with Pakistan.
