Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League (Q) after several ups and down has finally joined federal government.
While talking to media representatives in Islamabad after meeting with Pakistan People’s Party including President and Prime Minister of Pakistan, PML-Q leader Raja Basharat has said that all the things have been set between PPP and PML-Q, and they were joining federal government for the national interest.
He said five ministers of PML-Q ministers would take oath on Monday evening at 1900 (local time). He said PML-Q joined PPP government for national reconciliation agenda.
Source said that Chaudhary Pervez Ilahi, Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain, Faisal Saleh Hayat, Ghaus Bux Meher and Ameer Maqam would swear in today (Monday).
Chaudhary Pervez Ilahi, at the occasion, said that he would not taking the post of deputy prime minister because PML-Q not want to take any unconstitutional step. He said amendment would be carried out for the post of deputy prime minister. He said he would take oath as a senior minister in the first phase.
Raja Basharat said that PML-Q and PPP coalition is for the better interest of Pakistan, but in the past coalitions had been made to destabilize governments.
He said both the parties have agreed on several national issues including economic issues, terrorism, unemployment, coordination between provinces and power sharing formula. He said both the parties have also agreed to support the cause of new provinces in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtoon Khawa.
