Islamabad: Former Pakistan wicket-keeper Zulqarnain Haider landed at Benazir International Airport Islamabad on Monday.
According to media reports Haider returned Pakistan by PIA flight PK-786 where his family was present.
The reports said that Haider was not allowed speaking to media and whisked away by the security forces.
Zulqarnain Haider is expected to meet Interior Minister Rehman Malik who assured Haider of providing security.
Haider had disappeared during a series between Pakistan and South Africa in Dubai and later was found at London airport, claiming that he was receiving death threats form bookies.He had also filed an application with the British Home Department, seeking political asylum which he withdrew after Malik assured him that ample security would be provided to him and his family.
Haider had played a key role in his last ODI agains South Africa, securing victory for his home side.
