Peshawar: Pakistan’s Federally Administrated Tribal Areas (FATA) Secretariat has suspended 43 employees of Levies force on Sunday due to absence from their duties.
Khyber Agency’s Political Management recently inducted 147 new employees in Levies force due to the unstable condition of law and order. These newly appointed employees were directed to join their duties from 1st March 2011.
Only 104 of these 147 employees joined the duty, while the rest refused to join as they were terrorized because of the increased number of terrorist attacks on Levies force and Khasa Dar force.
Show cause notices were issued to all of these employees, but none of them joined their duties. According to sources, all of these 43 employees have been suspended.
