Islamabad: Chairman, Implementation Commission on 18th Amendment, Senator Raza Rabbani denied that there was a rift in the commission.
He was talking to newsmen here on Thursday. To a question regarding PML-N’s Ishaq Dar resignation from the commission, Rabbani said that Dar had an important role in the commission’s working.
He rejected the perception emerged after Dar’s resignation that the commission split over the devolution mechanism.
He said that the commission deliberated threadbare upon the aspects of foreign agreements of the ministries being devolved to provinces.
He said hopefully by the end of current month, the ministries of Women Development, Sports and Environment would be transferred to the provinces.
He said that the next meeting of the commission would be held on Monday.
