London: British Prime Minister David Cameron on Sunday said that the world wanted Colonel Muammar Gaddafi to quit as leader of Libya.
Cameron rejected the role of Gaddafi in future of the country. “We will not allow Colonel Gaddafi to murder his own civilians, and the idea that he should be a part to play in the future of Libya must be wrong,” Cameron said.
He said that their aim was only to fulfill the responsibilities what UN Security Council resolutions defined but every country around the world wanted that Libya should be able to have a free and democratic future determined by themselves.
Cameron said that there was “no question of an invasion or an occupation” under the terms of the UN resolution and that this was making fighting the conflict “more difficult in many ways” for the coalition. Shortage
He confirmed that the coalition was supplying the rebels with non-lethal material, such as body armour and communications equipment. “We should be taking all the necessary steps to stop that from happening and to save civilian life.” British Prime Minister said.
