Karachi: The unabated spate of targeted killings continue to haunt the city of light, Karachi, as six more people were killed early Sunday, which pushed the death toll to 15 during last 24 hours.
Police said unidentified men killed a Police Sub-Inspector, Zulfiqar, at his doorstep in New Karachi police quarters. The body of the cop was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for legal formalities.
The dead bodies of two women were found near Nipa Chowrangi. Police said that they were murdered after subjecting to physical tortured.
In another incident, a body of an unidentified man was found in North Karachi sector 11. Police said the deceased was abducted before being shot.
A couple was shot dead in their house in Baldia Town. They were identified as Farhan Qadri, 28, and Yasmin, 26.
