Tripoli: Pro-Gaddafi forces bombarded rebel controlled Misrata, western cit of Libya, killing five and injuring more than 20 others, news agency reported on Monday.
Meanwhile a delegation of African Union visited Benghazi, Libyan stronghold and offered a proposal suggesting end to ongoing conflict which the government has already accepted.
Reports say the rebels have promised to study the plan but refused to any truce unless Gaddafi stepped down.
The Reports say the AU’s plan seeks immediate ceasefire, unhindered delivery of   humanitarian aid, safety of foreign nationals and dialogue between the government and rebels.
The African Union (AU) delegation comprised from five African nations headed by President Zuma of South Africa.
Meanwhile, the UK has vowed to continue attacks in Libya for the protection of people.
