Washington: United States President Barack Obama called Republican House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner to resolve budget issue but reached ‘no decision’ over the budget deadlock, , sources said.
On the other hand, White House said Boehner made the telephone call, not Obama, but gave no details of their conversation.
It is pertinent to mention here that budget issue in the US has entered in very topical condition and President Obama is facing severe resistance from opposition party.
The sources said Boehner expressed grave concern over the budget presented by Obama and refused to accept it.
It is expected that after the drop scene between Republican and Democratic parties, US business wheel may be jam.
White House’s Budget and Management Office has already directed all federal department’s head that ready to set up an emergency plan in case of shortage of budget.
Chairman Administration Committee Congress warned that thousands of unnecessary employees would be terminated if talks were failed.
Before this, American financial system has been collapsed in 1995 and 1996 owing to budget failure.
Fund shortage would affect museums, national parks, customs in Afghanistan and security personnel patrolled in bordering areas while thousands of Black Berry phones would be blocked.
Unemployment in the US has reached by 10 percent and various federal departments are running their offices after taking loans from government.
