Islamabad: Pakistan has once more made it clear that Islamabad would not be not be held responsible for Afghanistan’s defeats.
While talking to media persons in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Tehmina Janjua on Thursday said Pakistan did not agree with a White House report and cooperation between Pakistan, Afghanistan and the United States was necessary to address the challenges. She said that it was Islamabad’s responsibility to review the strategy against terrorism.
She said the British Prime Minister David Cameron’s visit was very successful, adding that President Asif Ali Zardari would visit Turkey from April 11 to 14. She maintained that Pakistan and India trade secretaries would meet in Islamabad on 27-28.
Tehmina said Interior Ministry was working on the issue of former president Pervez Musharraf’s extradition to Pakistan not the Foreign Ministry.
