New Dehli: International Cricket Council (ICC) Chief Executive Haroon Logart has said that ban on electronic media for coverage of the semi-final and final of cricket World Cup 2011 has bee lifted.
He on Tuesday said that the ban has lifted after the request of Indian Minister for Information. He said now all media persons could cover the remaining matches of the mega event.
ICC on Monday canceled accreditation cards and permissions of electronic media yesterday (Monday) from the coverage of semi-finals and final of the WC. ICC on Monday announced that no passes would be allowed to media persons except those who have rights of live coverage of the world cup.
