Islamabad: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that invitation of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to watch world cup semifinal has been accepted in the larger interest of the country.
He was addressing a meeting of the federal cabinet here on Monday.The PM convened the meeting to take cabinet members into confidence about his upcoming visit to India.
Gilani said that Pakistan wanted to benefit from the opportunity of cricket world cup semifinal.
He said that Pakistan wanted good relations with all its neigbouring  countries.
The meeting also condemned burning of the Holy Quran by a US priest Terry Jones and resolved to lodge protest at international forum.
The meeting also approved government’s decision to reopen former prime minister and PPP founder chairman Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto case besides giving approval of devolution of five more ministries to provinces.
