Islamabad: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that according to intelligence reports the Taliban were now active in India.
Addressing a press conference after a meeting with Interpol Secretary General Ronald K Noble,Malik expressed the hope that India would ensure security for the Pakistani cricket team during the semifinal in Mohali.
Speaking on the occasion Noble said that the Interpol had also arrested a suspected terrorist from Colombo with the assistance of Pakistan.
He said that the Interpol had approved two million euros for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
