New Delhi: Accusing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of “misleading” the House by claiming MPs were not bribed during the July 2008 trust vote, the main Opposition Bhartia Janta Party (BJP) on Tuesday moved a privilege motion in the Lok Sabha, Indian Parliament.
The privilege notice was submitted by Leader of the Opposition Sushma Swaraj. Speaker Meira Kumar told the House that she was examining the notice. The motion was supported by the Left parties as well.
