Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has advised Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani to nominate Deedar Hussain Shah as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) again. He was removed by Supreme Court of Pakistan on Thursday.
Presidential spokesman Farhatullah Babar said that separate letters have been written to the prime minister and the opposition leader in the National Assembly Chaudary Nisar Ali Khan in this regard.
The spokesman said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)’s Chief Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif showed his confidence in Shah in 2008.
Nisar said he had received no letter from the president’s house in this regard.
Sindh Chapter of Pakistan People’s Party, ruling party of the country, observed a protest day on Friday against the removal of Shah by the apex court and said judiciary is supporting one party.
