Kabul: Two policemen were killed and 19 others mostly civilian injured in two blasts in eastern Afghanistan on Monday, a official said.

Two policemen were martyred and 19 others, mostly civilians, were injured when two bombs went off minutes apart,’ Ahmad Zia Abdulzai, the provincial governor’s spokesman, said.
The second bomb exploded when police were investigating the first blast, he said.
The blasts took place in front of the grand mosque in Jalalabad, the capital of Nangarhar province.
Two weeks ago, over 40 Afghan security personnel and civilians were killed in a suicide attack at a Jalalabad bank.
