Jeddah: Saudi Interior Minister has said that every measure would be taken to prevent attempts aimed at disturbing law and order in the country, state TV reported on Saturday.
Interior minister Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz said that action would be taken against those who would try to disturb law and order.
Rallies and demonstrations have been banned in Saudi Arabia in an attempt to avoid anti-government protests.
A popular uprsing in Egypt that led to Hosni Mubarak’s ouster had worried governments in Middle East. Even Saudi Arabia also experienced small protests.
