Lahore: About 350 Pakistanis evacuated from Libya arrived here on Tuesday.
The expatriates have been brought back on two special chartered flights.
170 Pakistani arrived in Lahore, Punjab capital on the Turkish Airlines while 180 Pakistanis reached here on the second flights. According to reports over 10,000 Pakistanis were still stranded in Libya.
The reports said that around 18,000 of its nationals are living in Libya.
Earlier on Monday Pakistan’ Foreign office spokesperson had told media that their mission in the region had clear instructions from the foreign ministry to facilitate early and safe repatriation of stranded Pakistanis.
