Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said that there was neither target killingĀ nor corruption in Punjab.
While talking at a ceremony here he said that PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif showed patience for three years for the sake of democracy and provided several opportunities to the PPP to mend its ways but to no avail.
He said that a summary has been forwarded to the Punjab governor for approval seeking dissolution of Punjab cabinet.
Shahbaz alleged that the PPP leaders were down to knees before the foreign pressure while they used abusive language against the PML-N.
He said Nawaz Sharif and late Benazir Bhutto had signed Charter of Democracy (COD) to strengthen the democracy in the country. He asked whether the plundering of national wealth was part of the COD as it was now happening in the country.
Shahbaz said that National Insurance Corporation Limited (NICL) was robbed under the PPP government.
