New Delhi: The sole surviving gunman from the Mumbai terror attacks Ajmal Amir Kasab will appeal in the Supreme Court against his death sentence.
The Bombay High Court had confirmed his death penalty on Monday for his role in the Mumbai attacks,
Farhana Shah had said that Kasab’s case moved too fast and they could not defend him. “There are many grey areas in the case. He did not get a fair trial,” she said.
A day after the Bombay High Court confirmed the death sentence to Ajmal Kasab the Pakistani citizen was withdrawn into a shell on Tuesday and does not talk to any guards in Arthur Road Jail.
After hearing the verdict in the video conference room of the prison, Kasab returned to his cell and did not show any signs of being tense or feeling dejected. He did not talk to anyone and slept well after having dinner, sources said.
