Washington: Marc Grossman has been appointed as new special envoy for the United States for Pakistan and Afghanistan on Friday.
According to an American newspaper Grossman, retired US official, has been appointed as new special representative of the US for Pakistan and Afghanistan in place of late Richard Halbrooke who died last year, Secretary of States Hillary Clinton announced.
