Peshawar: The Social Welfare Department, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in collaboration with the Health Department as well as Social Works Department of University of Peshawar will launch a month-long cleanliness campaign at hospitals of Peshawar.
The one-month campaign will begin from March 1.
The decision was made at a meeting at Peshawar on Monday which was presided over by the Provincial Minister for Social Welfare, Sitara Ayaz.
Sitara Ayaz said that the main objective of the cleanliness campaign was to make the cleanliness situation somewhat better, create awareness among public regarding cleanliness and its importance.
She added that the services female MPAs of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and students of Social Works Department, University of Peshawar, would also be taken in this campaign.
She directed the administration of the hospitals to extend cooperation in this regard so as to make the campaign successful. She also directed the administration concerned to submit the list of requirements to be made in cleanliness campaign.
