New Delhi: The Pakistan High Commission’s officials were not allowed to meet acclaimed Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who was detained at the Indira Gandhi International Airport when he was about to board on a flight to Karachi.
Indian officials refused to allow the Pakistan High Commission officials to meet Rahat, reasoning interrogation was under way.
Sources in the Indian capital told The News Tribe that the Pakistani counselors would be allowed to meet the singer once the Indian Revenue officials complete the investigation.
Rahat Fateh Ali was detained for keeping undeclared foreign currency at the Indian airport on Sunday evening.
