Lahore: Chief Justice of Pakistan Ifetikhar Muhammad Chaudhry has said that dispensation of justice is the first priority of Judiciary.
Addressing a seminar arranged by Supreme Court Bar in Lahore on Wednesday he said that timely verdicts were vital for the dispensation of justice.
The CJ said that the judges had to make difficult decisions to provide the masses with justice as the judges are held responsible every where.
Justice Chaudhry said that provision of justice is mandatory in Islam, adding that the SC is trying to ensure accountability
Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Ejaz Ahemd Chaudhry and a large number of lawyers attended the seminar.
