Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari Monday called his Sri Lankan counterpart Mahinda Rajapaksa and expressed deep sympathies and concerns over the devastation caused by the recent floods in Sri Lanka.
He said that the Government and the people of Pakistan can feel at their heart the sufferings and miseries of their Sri Lankan brothers and sisters having suffered the same natural calamity a few months ago.
The president also expressed his sympathies for the victims of the floods and assured all out support of the government of Pakistan in this hour of distress.
