Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza said on Thursday that he was not informed about the Rangers operation in Orangi Town.
Speaking in the Sindh Assembly, the minister said that the chief minister, IGP Sindh, CCPO Karachi and he was not taken into confidence before launching the operation, adding that Rangers were under the Sindh government.
Mirza added that the Rangers were given police powers after his signature, adding that he could withdraw the powers.
Meanwhile, the Rangers and police have arrested four people allegedly involved in target killings.
Sources said that the accused, residents of Pehlwan Goth, were arrested from Super Highway.
