Johannesburg: South African on Wednesday announced 15-man squad for the Cricket World Cup. Imran Tahir, a Pakistan-born leg spinner was also included in the World Cup squad. Graeme Smith will lead the team.
The South African squad includes skipper Graeme Smith (Captain), Hashim Amla, Johan Botha, AB de Villiers (wk), JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis, Colin Ingram, Jacques Kallis, Morne Morkel, Wayne Parnell, Robin Peterson, Dale Steyn, Imran Tahir, Lonwabo Tsotsobe, Morne van Wyk (wk).
South Africa has been placed in group B, besides India, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Ireland.
The first match of South Africa will be on 24 February against West Indies
