PESHAWAR: United States (US) unmanned drone carried out three missile strikes at a house in North Waziristan, the tribal area of Pakistan, killing at least seven alleged militants on Tuesday, said security officials.
According to the officials, a drone fired three missiles at a house in Aster village of Datta Khel, North Waziristan. As a result, seven alleged militants were killed in the attack, the official said on anonymity as they are not authorized to talk the media. The death toll is feared to be increased.
The identities of the victims were yet to be ascertained.
It is pertinent to mention here that this is the eighth US drown strike in the month of January and more than 50 people have been killed so far in these attacks.
