KARACHI: A ban on pillion-ridding has been re-imposed under the Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in Karachi, the southern city of Pakistan, from 00:00 Monday night, said a high-ranking police official here.
The Sindh home department has issued a notification in this regard, saying that a ban on pillion-ridding is being imposed for seven days owing to the fresh wave of violence in the city.
It is pertinent to mention here that the ban was lifted earlier a month ago.
