ISLAMABAD: The innocent children could be seen everywhere in federal capital selling flower bouquets but it is alarming concern what would be the future of these blossoming kids.
With advent of pleasant weather in the city the innocent poor children could be seen selling colourful flowers, especially in Jinnah Super market, Super market and Blue area. At one aspect the children irritate us by knocking panes of our cars but suddenly they offer us beautiful flowers with innocent request to buy it for our love ones.
Some residents express grave concerns over the situation as what would be the future of these poor kids. The kids sale flowers to earn livelihood for their family. These children belong to slum situated in different areas of the city. The children are not getting education due to poverty and wasting their precious time on roads, selling flowers. Like flowers their precious time, childhood and future are going to dry but unfortunately there is no one to save them.
Abdul Qadir, a kid selling flowers in Jinnah Super Market innocently termed his occupation a legal and right kind of work to earn livelihood instead of begging and robbery.
Dr Fozia visitor in Jinnah Super termed the activity a serious crime being committed by using kids because innocent children are unaware that they are being spoiled.
The government should take steps to save the future of these kids, government should take steps to take away flower bunches from them and give them books so that their future could be saved.
