MULTAN: A group of unidentified armed robbers looted jewelry of worth Rs 20 million from a shop in Multan, a famous city of Punjab province of Pakistan, on late Thursday night.
A six-member group entered a shop in Gulshan Jewelers Market, Multan. They held the three guards hostage and trussed up their hands and legs behind. They use special cutters for cutting the shelf and threw all their instruments on the spot before fleeing.
The robbers used XLI vehicle in the incident and fled at unknown destination after two hours long duration robbery.
Owner of the shop alleged that said that rescue 15 was called but they reached the spot two hours after the incident.
He demanded area police to arrest the persons involved in the incident within three days and recovered the looted jewelry from their possession.
Police have registered a case and started searching of the criminals. However, no arrest was made so far till filing this story.
