QUETTA: Unidentified miscreants blown up a gas pipeline in Balochistan Province of Pakistan on the wee hours of Thursday, said police.
The incident took place in Dera Allah Yar, a city of District Jaffarabad when a gas pipeline of 18 inch diameter was exploded with explosive device.
Officials of Sui Southern Gas Company said gas supply to various parts of Balochistan including Naseerabad, Jaffarabad and Dera Allah Yar.
Security officials cordoned off the affected area and started searching of the criminals. However, no arrest was made so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that the incidents of blowing gas pipelines have been seen generally.
