Sydney: A new spell of rain has started in already flood-stricken areas of Australia cutting all the communication links of Queensland with rest of the country.
The Met department has predicted more rains in the flood-hit areas. Water levels in the Fizroy river have swelled to 30 feet and in Ballonne river 41 feet, While police and rescue officials are patrolling in boats to cope with any emergency situation.
The recent floods have inflicted trillions of dollars loss to the country.
