Lahore: Pakistani cricketers Salman Butt, Muhammad Asif and Muhammad Amir have left for Doha to appear in final hearing of their case of alleged involvement in spot fixing on Tuesday.
A large number of cricket fans were present at the airport to see them off.
The three were charged with spot fixing allegations during England tour while the ICC had banned them to play international cricket.
Speaking to the journalists at the airport, left-arm bowler Muhammad Amir said that his counsel was fully prepared for the hearing, adding that he was hopeful to be the part of Pakistani team soon.
Former Captain Salman Butt and Muhammad Asif avoided the media. The hearings will start from Jan 6.
