Karachi: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) would organise several youth championships during the year 2011, including the National School Football Championship.
In order to lift football from grass root level in the country, we are looking forward to work on the grass-root level in the 2011 and we would also be introducing National School Championship in the year 2011. The objective of organising such a championship is that we want to induce our youth in healthy activities. Moreover, it would also provide a platform to school students to polish and showcase their talent,” PFF secretary Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi told PPI.
“However, we are yet to decide the dates of the tournament as Higher Education Commission (HEC) would give us dates, which would facilitate the students. As soon as the HEC gives us the available dates, we would announce the schedule of the tournament,” he added.
