Lahore Board Matric result 2016 announced

LAHORE: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Lahore has announced Matric results on Wednesday, thenewstribe.io reported.

According to detail, Chairman Lahore Board, Nasrullah Virak has announced names of top position holders in Matric exams of session 2015-16.

Board’s announced detail show that Science groups positions secured by the male while girls took lead in arts group results.

Rana Umar Farman took first with 1087, Shayan Waheed secured second with 1086 and Syed Momin Ali with Husnain Mushtaq captured third slot in the Matric result of 2016.

Male students took all three top positions in overall Matric result while securing same slots in the Science group 10th class result of 2016.

Iqra with 1067 captured first, Ayesha Khalid and Areej Fatima took second with 1055 while Uzma Waris stands third with 1045 marks in Arts group result.

Lahore Board issued detail available with TheNewsTribe.com show that 216,692 candidates participated in exam and 71.48% succeeded.

131,161 candidates, 78% out of total appeared in the exams, declared pass in Science group while 60.68% out of total 83,550 passed Arts group exam.

It is worth mentioning here that Sabir Ali, first position holder of Arts Group boys is a son of local labour and third position holder Allah Ditta’s father works as Donkey cart driver.
